GIZ CDBE presentation at UBT International Conference on Education

“On behalf of GIZ CDBE, Rrezearta Zhinipotoku-Behluli was invited to be a key note speaker at the UBT International Conference on Education which was held between 26-28th of October, in the UBT Campus in Prishtina. Ms. Zhinipotoku-Behluli presented the results from a meta-analysis study conducted by GIZ CDBE which was focused on thorough analysis based on the teacher training and education management monitoring data. Main findings of this study show that qualification and position is significantly related to higher results as: when it comes to education management training the participants in higher positions were more likely to achieve better test results while higher qualified teachers achieved better results in pre- and posttest, respectively. Study as well revealed that performance of teachers increased the more hours they spent at the trainings and that less qualified teachers spent more hours at the trainings than higher qualified teachers. The data shows that there have been no connection between the gender or age of the teachers and the hours they spent at the trainings while for the school directors neither age nor gender influenced the test results. For more information on the study, please contact Ms. Zhinipotoku Behluli at Rrezearta.zhinipotoku-behluli@giz.de
