School “Andon Zako Çajupi”, is another school from the municipality of Vushtrri, that in the Blackboard Competition organized by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) jointly with Peer Educator Network (PEN), applied in all competing categories. The school staff and students engaged in the preparation of a video, drawing, essay, and in other activities in the area of ecology and sports. At the same time the students recorded a Quiz they organized in Social Sciences. As a result of a good application that portrayed strong inclusive education messages, “Andon Zako Çajupi” was selected as a winning school.
Our team visited the school last week, and saw the newly painted walls from the community and the newly hanged folding blackboards.
The vice president of the school was appreciative and very happy with GIZ’s support for the school. At the same time, our colleagues met also with the music teacher who was leading the process of the application, and who confirmed a high motivation and willingness of children to participate in all of the activities. She further added, that it was very exciting to explore and enhance creativity of children and thus come up with creative ideas to apply for the competition.
